Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily therapeutic experience of assigned clients, ensuring their needs are effectively addressed through virtual interactions.
- Accurately complete and maintain all required documentation within established timelines.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of clients, including biopsychosocial evaluations and mental status examinations.
- Develop customized treatment plans based on each client's unique history, needs, and symptoms.
- Facilitate individual, couple/family, and group therapy sessions as needed, fostering a supportive and nonjudgmental atmosphere.
- Exhibit respect for the diverse cultural and lifestyle backgrounds of clients and staff.
- Provide crisis intervention services, including assessing 5150 needs when required.
- Stay updated on the latest legal and ethical standards in clinical practice, including professional boundaries and reporting obligations.
- Integrate knowledge of the 12-step model of recovery (e.g., AA, NA, CA, Alanon) into therapeutic approaches.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
- Licensed as an LMFT, LCSW, LCDC, LPC, or as a Licensed Psychologist or Psychological Assistant.
- A minimum of two years of experience in mental health and/or substance abuse treatment; supervisory experience preferred.
- Successful clearance of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.
- Health screening required.
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and word processing tasks.
- Capable of performing manual dexterity tasks and navigating within the facility as necessary.
