Key Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Operations: Direct all technical operations involved in aircraft transitions, new aircraft deliveries, lease returns, and ongoing fleet management in the Americas Region.
- Drive Acquisitions & Sales: Provide technical insight during aircraft and lease due diligence, assist in negotiations, and support transactions throughout their lifecycle.
- Ensure Technical Excellence: Oversee maintenance reserve claims, review work scopes, manage annual inspections, and ensure stringent compliance with EASA/FAA airworthiness standards.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Liaise effectively with internal teams, vendors (MROs, OEMs), and clients to facilitate seamless operations and deliver outstanding customer satisfaction.
- Innovate and Improve: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance technical processes, adopt new technologies, and drive departmental advancements.
- Aviation Expertise: Possess a relevant undergraduate degree (or equivalent experience) along with an Airframe & Powerplant license or an equivalent FAA/EASA certification.
- Industry Experience: A minimum of 10 years in aircraft leasing, with a comprehensive understanding of aircraft systems, industry regulations, and best practices.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with EASA/FAA airworthiness requirements, aircraft leasing protocols, OEM asset management systems, and technical analysis.
- Leadership & Communication: Exceptional leadership capabilities with the aptitude for effective collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented & Results-Driven: Outstanding project management skills characterized by a keen attention to detail and a focus on achieving results.
- 10 years of experience in the aviation industry with specific expertise in aircraft leasing.
