Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced International Accountant to join our Finance team. In this pivotal role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the Controller and engage in a variety of essential accounting functions. Your contributions will significantly impact our financial reporting and compliance efforts, particularly in our international operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare daily flash reports and carry out comprehensive financial analyses.
• Manage cash and investment management processes with precision.
• Facilitate communication with international teams to ensure effective foreign accounting and operational transactions.
• Oversee fixed asset management, including capital requests and depreciation tracking on a monthly basis.
• Generate financial reports, tax returns, and other compliance documentation.
• Conduct detailed financial data analysis and variance assessments to identify trends and discrepancies.
• Regularly reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
• Assist in the preparation of federal, state, local, and special tax returns.
• Support internal and external audits by investigating and resolving any audit findings.
• Coordinate the flow of accounting data between local and remote facilities.
• Aid in budget preparation and monitoring to align with financial objectives.
• Provide clear and effective financial communication to stakeholders and departments.
• Mentor and train junior accounting staff to promote skill development.
• Contribute to special projects as required.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Solid financial analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with tax laws and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
