Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate daily financial records and transactions.
  • Process weekly payroll for employees with precision.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Conduct monthly bank account reconciliations for accuracy.
  • Manage supplier accounts, verifying and posting transactions as necessary.
  • Create and oversee invoicing processes, ensuring correct billing practices.
  • Organize and manage documentation for audits and reporting.
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and contribute to year-end financial closing.
  • Keep bookkeeping policies and procedures current and compliant.
  • Provide support for documentation and coordination on ongoing construction projects.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned by supervisors to facilitate office operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in accounting, finance, or a similar field.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Strong ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Appfolio; experience with AIA documents is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially in interactions with technical and financial professionals.

Qualifications

  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Relevant experience in accounts payable, expense reporting, and financial document management is essential.
