We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Accountant to join our team in a part-time, remote role. Key Responsibilities

In your role as a part-time Accountant, you will be instrumental in maintaining the financial health of our non-profit clients. You will engage directly with multiple clients, both virtually and on-site, to deliver a wide range of accounting services and cultivate strong relationships with their staff and boards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Processing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll on a weekly and monthly basis.
• Performing bank account and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparing monthly financial statements and conducting related analyses.
• Tracking and monitoring grants.
• Developing and monitoring cash flow projections.
• Preparing for external audits.
  
  

Required Skills

To excel in this role, you should bring the following skills:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry (5 years preferred).
• Strong communication skills and a positive demeanor.
• Familiarity with various accounting software, with QuickBooks experience being advantageous.
• Intermediate-level skills in Excel.
• Willingness to travel to client offices as needed (when safe).
• Non-profit experience is a plus but not mandatory.
• Availability to work during regular business hours to effectively serve our clients.
