We are actively seeking a highly skilled Audit Manager to join our team in a remote capacity, specializing in audits for government-funded entities, including schools, hospitals, and administrative agencies throughout the United States. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the wrap-up and review process of audit fieldwork, ensuring the completion of work papers and checklists, particularly for government audits.
• Evaluate draft financial statements and other associated audit documents.
• Communicate audit findings to pertinent stakeholders.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop team members.
• Foster and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proficient in GAAP and GAAS standards.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to effectively supervise and train staff.
  
  

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of public accounting experience, particularly in conducting financial audits within the public sector.
• Demonstrated experience working with state-funded organizations, municipalities, or administrative agencies.
• Must possess a valid CPA license.
• Educational Background: BA/BS in Business with a concentration in Accounting is required.
