Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, business, and trust & estate tax returns.
- Collaborate closely with clients and team members on tax preparation and strategic planning initiatives.
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide resolutions to accounting challenges as they arise.
- Execute final reviews of tax returns, recommending necessary adjustments prior to filing.
- Provide support to clients during IRS, state, and other governmental inquiries or audits.
- Foster strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service delivery.
- Ensure adherence to professional standards and all relevant tax regulations.
- Demonstrated ability in time management and prioritization.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to professional responsibilities.
- Highly motivated team player, capable of collaborative efforts in a group environment.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation and research, with a preference for income tax expertise.
- At least 1 year of experience in final tax return sign-off.
- Possession of an active CPA license or EA certification.
- Proficiency in tax and accounting software (Lacerte and QuickBooks preferred), along with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and Adobe.
