Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies aimed at securing financial support from individuals, foundations, and corporate partners.
- Cultivate and manage donor relationships, including activities related to cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Plan and coordinate fundraising events and campaigns to align with the organizational objectives.
- Prepare and submit grant proposals while managing necessary reporting requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of donations, pledges, and donor interactions within our donor management system.
- Supervise daily financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.
- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports for leadership review.
- Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and banking transactions.
- Assist in the formulation and oversight of the annual budget.
- Coordinate annual audits with external auditors and implement recommended audit measures.
- Strong grasp of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in financial management software alongside donor management systems.
- Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to function autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
- A firm commitment to the mission and values of the organization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 4-6 years of experience in nonprofit financial management and fundraising.

- Part-Time (Remote Eligible): \(25 - \)35 per hour, based on experience.
