Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our proactive team, responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of essential financial, administrative, and project management functions. This role involves close collaboration with the DEQ Program Manager and team members to facilitate seamless operations and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Regularly maintain and update the state project management system (Touchdown).
- Monitor contractor hours, oversee critical workstreams, and manage both financial and project status updates.
- Leverage MS Project, SharePoint, and other Microsoft tools for effective project coordination.
- Organize and facilitate working sessions, team meetings, and significant project milestones.
- Document detailed meeting minutes and project discussions.
- Assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and templates.
- Support the creation and editing of PowerPoint presentations and reports.
- Operate effectively within a high-paced environment, ensuring the achievement of project objectives and deadlines.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in IT project management.
- Exceptional communication abilities to collaborate efficiently with team members and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project and Office 365 applications, including SharePoint and Teams.
- PMP certification is advantageous, although not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Visio and financial accounts is a beneficial asset.
- Relevant degree in project management or a related field is preferred.
