This role is pivotal for navigating the complexities of the ever-changing regulatory landscape, enabling you to provide strategic legal guidance that supports our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver expert legal counsel to various business units, including marketing, sales, IT, and operations, ensuring adherence to privacy regulations in partnership with the Privacy Office.
- Evaluate and negotiate privacy-related provisions in an array of agreements, such as vendor contracts, SaaS agreements, and confidentiality arrangements.
- Provide guidance on product strategies that align with data privacy laws, consumer rights, and organizational goals.
- Draft and refine privacy policies, notices, disclosures, and other compliance communications.
- Aid the sales and marketing departments with insights on privacy considerations pertinent to digital marketing strategies, including online advertising and social media initiatives.
- Collaborate with teams in Information Security, Data Governance, Risk, and Audit to manage privacy compliance risks and address cybersecurity incidents.
- Profound understanding of key data privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR, GLBA, CPRA).
- Proven experience in interpreting regulatory mandates and crafting privacy documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to provide compliance advisement to corporate clients.
- Experience in the negotiation and drafting of contracts.
- Capacity to manage a wide array of legal issues with efficiency.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication competencies.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams at all organizational levels.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or an equivalent law degree, with a strong academic record.
- Minimum of two years of relevant legal practice experience.

Compensation And Benefits
- Hourly rate: \(80.00 - \)90.00 per hour.
