Key Responsibilities

• Spearhead the formulation of budgets for the Annual Operating Plan and lead Quarterly forecasts.
• Analyze financial data and provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Conduct period-end close reporting and variance analyses for critical stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with executive leadership on finance-related operational initiatives.
• Continuously assess and enhance processes related to financial forecasting, planning, and reporting.
• Oversee daily cash management, ensuring operational liquidity.
• Develop and analyze cash forecasts to improve forecasting methodologies and align with business objectives.
• Manage banking relationships, including the administration of account openings and closures.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; an MBA or professional certification is advantageous.
• 4-7 years of financial management experience, ideally within a government contracting framework.
• Proficiency in financial software, including Hyperion Planning, Essbase, and SmartView, with knowledge of Oracle or UNANET being a plus.
• Strong understanding of treasury functions, financial planning, cash forecasting, and compliance.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Effective communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial data clearly to senior management.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel for data analysis and visualization.
• Ability to thrive under tight deadlines while maintaining efficiency in task execution.
