Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions utilizing telehealth platforms, ensuring clients receive exemplary care and support.
- Perform comprehensive assessments and work in partnership with clients to develop customized treatment plans tailored to their specific mental health needs.
- Foster strong, supportive relationships with clients while adhering to professionalism and ethical standards.
- Complete necessary documentation, including treatment plans and progress notes, while ensuring compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and resources to guarantee clients receive comprehensive care.
- Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed about the latest trends and research in mental health, attending relevant training and supervision sessions.
- Fulfill all licensing and credentialing documentation in Louisiana within the designated 30-45 day timeframe.
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and confidentiality standards in the delivery of care.
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related discipline.
- Active and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in Louisiana.
- Experience working with diverse client populations, particularly children and adolescents.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, especially in a virtual telehealth environment.
- Ability to function both independently and as part of a collaborative remote team.
- Proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms for counseling services.
