Key Responsibilities
- Deliver individual therapy sessions to adult clients, with the opportunity to extend services to teens and couples if desired.
- Employ clinical interventions and diagnostic expertise to promote clients’ mental health and personal development.
- Develop DSM-5 diagnoses and customized treatment plans for each client.
- Complete electronic documentation and maintain precise records.
- Engage in consultations with other healthcare providers and family members as needed.
- Remain informed about ongoing education and best practices to effectively serve a diverse clientele.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of your office and shared spaces.
- Current licensure in Illinois as an LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT.
- At least one year of counseling experience, demonstrating a passion for facilitating growth in others.
- Familiarity with tools such as G Suite, Google Docs, TherapyNotes, and a VOIP voicemail application.
- Strong organizational skills and professionalism with the ability to work autonomously while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
- Competence in managing and scheduling your caseload along with timely and accurate documentation.
- Current Illinois LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT license.
- Minimum one year of counseling experience, with a commitment to supporting others in their personal journeys.
- Experience in private practice is advantageous but not essential.
