Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations of patients through interviews with clients, their families, and relevant individuals involved in their care.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique emotional, social, cognitive, developmental, or behavioral needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the in-house Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner as necessary, offering consultations for medication management.
- Provide crisis intervention to ensure the safety and well-being of patients during critical situations.
- Maintain precise and current clinical records, documenting treatments and medications administered.
- Engage in ongoing professional development by partaking in educational activities such as reading pertinent literature, attending conferences, and networking with peers.
- Uphold ethical, legal, and professional standards in all aspects of practice, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Conduct virtual and, when necessary, in-office visits to address patient needs.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in a mental health-related field (e.g., social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, mental health counseling).
- Completed training necessary for registration, including BLS, ACLS, and Infection Control Training.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance, with a minimum of one year of experience as a Licensed Therapist.
- Current licensure in your state to offer counseling (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC) is preferred.
- Additional certifications such as ABA, DBT, CBT, and EMDR are advantageous but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English is a plus, but not essential.
- Excellent communication skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality care in a collaborative environment.
