Key Responsibilities
As a vital member of our Women’s Health Department, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Collecting patient information to support healthcare providers in assessment and care planning.
- Administering prescribed medications and treatments.
- Monitoring vital signs, medical histories, and symptoms.
- Assisting in physical exams and medical procedures within your licensure scope.
- Providing education to patients and their families on healthcare topics, treatment plans, and preventive care.
- Ensuring precise and timely documentation of patient interactions.
- Collaborating with various medical departments, including school nurses and WIC.
- Completing necessary documentation for external organizations.
- Triage patient inquiries to determine appropriate care pathways.
- Educating patients and families on after-hours care options and disease management.
- Coordinating with specialists to facilitate medical letters and home therapy setups as directed by healthcare providers.
