Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality psychiatric evaluations and prescribe treatments based on evidence-based practices for patients experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
- Supervise and mentor a team of APPs (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, and Advanced Practice Registered Nurses), ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care, reviewing treatment plans, and promoting their professional development.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including therapists, counselors, and care coordinators, to provide comprehensive mental health services.
- Actively participate in refining clinical workflows and enhancing treatment protocols to improve patient outcomes.
- Stay informed of the latest research and advancements in psychiatric care, contributing to innovative initiatives that bolster treatment strategies and client results.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency with telehealth technologies and electronic health records.
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with board certification in Psychiatry.
- A valid and unrestricted medical license in Florida (multi-state licensure is advantageous).
- Proven experience in treating mild to moderate mental health conditions with responsible prescribing practices.
- Prior supervisory experience with Advanced Practice Providers is preferred.
