Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Care: Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, prescribe evidence-based treatments, and provide ongoing support for individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
- Lead & Mentor: Oversee and nurture a team of APPs (NPs, PAs, APRNs), ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, reviewing treatment plans, and promoting professional development.
- Enhance Clinical Processes: Collaborate in refining workflows, optimizing treatment protocols, and contributing to best practices that elevate patient outcomes.
- Educate & Empower Clients: Provide psychoeducation and counsel to empower clients to understand their mental health, adhere to medications, and engage actively in their treatment journey.
- Collaborate Across Disciplines: Partner closely with therapists, counselors, care coordinators, and APPs to ensure holistic mental health care.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Remain informed about the latest research and innovations in psychiatric care, and contribute to new initiatives aimed at enhancing treatment approaches and client outcomes.
- MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
- Proven expertise in managing mild to moderate mental health conditions and prescribing medications judiciously.
- Strong leadership skills; prior experience supervising APPs is preferred.
- Excellent communication and diagnostic abilities, with comfort in telehealth and electronic health records usage.
- Valid, unrestricted Florida medical license (multi-state licensure is an advantage).
- Demonstrated clinical experience in mental health treatment.
- Experience in a startup or fast-paced healthcare environment and interest in mental health innovation or clinical protocol development are advantageous.
