Key Responsibilities
- Conduct therapy sessions and record progress notes using our secure Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system.
- Dedicate your efforts solely to high-quality therapeutic care, as our administrative team manages billing and co-pay collections.
- Engage with clients through video sessions, in-office appointments, or in their homes/community, while adhering to recommended safety protocols.
- Emotional and Behavioral Health: Address issues such as anxiety, anger management, stress, depression, self-esteem challenges, trauma, grief, and more.
- Family and Relationship Issues: Work on challenges including family conflict, blended families, domestic violence, parenting struggles, foster care, adoption, and kinship care.
- Youth and Adolescence: Tackle concerns like ADHD, behavioral issues, school-related challenges, bullying, adolescent development, defiance, and truancy.
- Life Challenges: Provide support for individuals facing abuse, neglect, homelessness, financial stress, career/job-related anxiety, and other emotional or physical health challenges.
- Specialized Support: Assist clients dealing with bereavement, eating disorders, suicidal ideation, sexual abuse, and emotional distress.
- Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and a strong ability to engage with diverse populations, including children, adults, and families.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective client relationships.
- Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems for efficient documentation.
- Clinical Licensure in Washington, D.C., as one of the following: LICSW, LPC, Ph.D., or PsyD.
- At least two years of experience providing psychotherapy to a variety of demographics, including children, adults, and families.
