Key Responsibilities
- Collect and accurately input patient data, including insurance information, copayments, and contact details into our electronic health record system (eCW).
- Ensure smooth patient flow by promptly notifying healthcare providers of patient arrivals, managing any delays, and maintaining clear communication with both patients and clinical staff.
- Address inquiries from patients, prospective patients, and visitors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide required documentation, including forms and office policies, to patients.
- Schedule appointments for both new and returning patients based on provider availability.
- Process payments from uninsured patients efficiently.
- Verify the insurance eligibility of patients.
- Conduct reminder calls to patients regarding their upcoming appointments.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential.
- At least one year of proven customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
