Job Title: Director of Customer Operations / Deployments - Remote | WFH

Location: Ideally based in Austin, TX with approximately 50% travel across the United States. We welcome candidates for a fully remote role, with occasional in-person meetings when not traveling.

Job Overview

In this newly established role, you will be crucial in delivering our innovative healthcare solutions as you manage clinical deployments in collaboration with healthcare providers across the United States. This multifaceted position will encompass operations, project management, implementation, and customer success. You will inherit responsibilities from the CEO, gaining valuable insights into our operations. This high-visibility role offers substantial growth potential as the company expands and the complexity of Customer Experience (CX) increases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for new deployments in MD / Clinical Practitioner offices
  • Travel to client locations (approximately 50% of the time) to oversee new deployments
  • Develop and maintain deployment and operations playbooks while potentially building a dedicated team
  • Educate customers on the insurance billing process and address denied claims
  • Collaborate with client staff, from administrative personnel to MDs, to accurately assess their roles and responsibilities
  • Facilitate patient enrollment and gain insights into the clinical enrollment process
  • Create and maintain product presentations
  • Independently arrange travel and accommodations

Required Skills

  • 3-5 years of experience in a fast-paced, externally focused customer-facing Operations / CX / Implementation role
  • Experience with city launches or similar initiatives is advantageous
  • Proven ability to work effectively in resource-constrained environments
  • A proactive, independent problem solver capable of navigating challenges without supervision
  • Strong analytical skills, with a science background preferred for data-driven decision-making
  • Willingness to travel approximately 50% within the U.S.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years in relevant customer-facing roles within dynamic settings
  • Previous clinical or medical experience (RN or MD) is beneficial but not mandatory
  • A strong appreciation for the startup environment and its associated risks and rewards, favoring equity-based compensation
