Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, offering guidance on their coverage and thoroughly assessing property damage for both residential and commercial properties.
- Conduct on-site inspections to collect evidence, document findings, and create comprehensive reports to facilitate effective claim management.
- Utilize negotiation skills to evaluate coverage, establish claim validity, and secure equitable settlements within the designated limits.
- Provide exemplary service by addressing inquiries with professionalism and empathy, particularly in sensitive situations.
- Collaborate with policyholders, agents, and other stakeholders to promote efficient and timely claim resolution.
- Proven experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist within the insurance sector, particularly in property claims.
- Strong understanding of property insurance policies, coverage details, and industry best practices.
- Knowledge of both residential and commercial building construction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with a focus on empathetic engagement during difficult conversations.
- Demonstrated capacity to accurately assess damage, estimate repair expenses, and negotiate settlements effectively.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools.
- Physical ability to perform tasks that include lifting, carrying, climbing ladders, and accessing tight spaces.
- A valid driver’s license is required.

- A background in construction or water mitigation inspection is a plus.
- Familiarity with Xactimate and XactContents software is preferred.
