Key Responsibilities

As a Claim Specialist, you will serve as the primary contact for our insured clients, guiding them through the claims process with compassion and professionalism. Your key responsibilities will encompass:

• Conducting on-site evaluations and assessments of property damages for both residential and commercial claims.
• Collaborating with policyholders, insurance agents, and other stakeholders to collect pertinent information and resolve claims effectively.
• Delivering outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely manner.
• Documenting findings and generating comprehensive reports to support the claims handling process.
• Investigating and adjusting property claims with exposures up to $500,000.
• Analyzing coverage and policy terms to determine the legitimacy of claims.
• Negotiating and settling claims within authorized parameters, in accordance with policy provisions and industry standards.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist within the insurance sector.
• In-depth knowledge of property insurance policies and claims management practices.
• Familiarity with residential and commercial building construction.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and stakeholders.
• A demonstrated capacity to assess damages, estimate repair costs, and negotiate settlements.
• A detail-oriented mindset complemented by strong organizational and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency in claims management software and relevant tools.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience is preferred.
• Experience in managing complex or high-value claims is advantageous.
• A background in construction or water mitigation inspection is a plus.
