Job Title: Reservations Ambassador Agent (Part-Time, Remote)

Location: Aspen, CO

Employment Type: Part-Time, Non-Exempt (Remote within Colorado)

Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and one additional weekday; 9 AM - 5 PM

Compensation: $24 per hour

Position Overview

As a Reservations Ambassador, you will be instrumental in providing outstanding guest service. You will handle reservation inquiries, audit bookings, secure deposits, arrange dining reservations, coordinate transport, assign rooms, respond to emails, and assist with front office operations. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about the luxury hospitality sector and adept at managing a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transform reservation inquiries into confirmed bookings.
• Collaborate with the Reservations and Front Office teams to facilitate room assignments and respond to guest inquiries.
• Enhance direct booking initiatives by converting OTA reservations.
• Audit future reservations for accuracy and fulfill guest requests.
• Undertake additional projects as assigned by hotel management.
• Address guest inquiries related to dining and transportation arrangements.
• Process Banquet Event Orders (BEO) in collaboration with Sales and Reservations.
• Provide weekend phone coverage for the Reservations team and manage client notification responses.
• Ensure accuracy of reservations using the Maestro software system.
  
  

Required Skills

• A genuine enthusiasm for guest service and hotel sales, with an ability to connect with clients both via phone and in person.
• Detail-oriented with a track record of producing high-quality work in a timely manner.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Creative problem-solving capabilities to handle guest-related challenges.
• Sound judgment during high-pressure situations.
• Proficient in English, with strong spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills.
  
  

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous experience in hospitality or guest service is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new software programs.
