Key Responsibilities
- Optimize energy procurement agreements by innovating strategies that manage contract risks and streamline complex processes to effectively link buyers and sellers.
- Lead and mentor a team of Transaction Managers, fostering a culture of professional development and creating a positive and productive work environment.
- Share your expertise by compiling and presenting data and metrics for stakeholders, simplifying complex procurement concepts through clear reports and presentations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships by collaborating with Customer Engagement and Sales Enablement teams to ensure precise records for customers and stakeholders.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of our software platform and procurement tools, providing valuable insights for product innovation based on customers’ evolving needs.
- Drive product improvements by identifying opportunities for enhancements and offering feedback on new features.
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, Salesforce, and project management tools (Asana, Jira, or similar).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, complemented by excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, along with a commitment to delivering tasks promptly and efficiently.
- Professionalism and accountability in cross-departmental projects.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other languages is a benefit.
- A minimum of 10 years of professional experience in renewable energy origination, project management, and/or voluntary renewable energy procurement.
- At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles, managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Extensive experience in contracting across various regions within North America.
- In-depth understanding of renewable energy development and the distinct characteristics of different state and energy markets.
- Demonstrated capability to articulate commodity market fundamentals.
- Knowledge of North American compliance markets and Renewable Energy Certificates.
- Familiarity with tax credit transfer agreements and negotiation processes is a plus.
