Job Title: Membership Services Administrator - Remote | Work From Home

Overview

Join our esteemed Association Management Company (AMC), which is renowned for delivering unparalleled value to our clients by promoting and advocating for their respective industries. We are currently in search of a skilled and results-oriented Membership Services Administrator to provide exceptional support to our clients, the National Plasterers Council (NPC) and the Aluminum Anodizers Council (AAC). This pivotal role is integral to our clients’ success, especially in light of recent organizational growth and opportunities. This position is designated as a remote role within the Kansas City Metro area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary liaison for member inquiries, ensuring prompt and courteous responses.
  • Organize and execute member events, workshops, webinars, and networking opportunities, both in-person and virtually.
  • Coordinate communication and marketing initiatives, including newsletters, email outreach, and social media engagement in partnership with our team.
  • Develop and manage online event registrations, member databases, and records, ensuring their accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Generate reports and presentations regarding membership engagement, trends, and other relevant metrics as necessary.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and implement strategies to enhance member benefits and services.
  • Work closely with board and committee leaders to prepare agendas and document meeting minutes as needed.

Required Skills

  • Strong customer service focus complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with membership management software, CRM systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office/Teams.
  • Experience in copywriting, graphic design, and social media communications is advantageous.
  • A creative mindset and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A passion for engaging and supporting the member community.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related discipline, or demonstrable professional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in association management or member services.
