Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Mentor Experience: Collaborate with internal teams, educational institutions, and external organizations to develop an enriching and engaging experience for our mentors, focusing on their professional growth, retention, and overall satisfaction.
- Expand Workforce Development: Create and implement innovative learning programs tailored for young adults that align with our mission while also supporting the educational and career aspirations of mentors.
- Assess Regional Needs: Engage with regional program managers and mentors across the country to identify local needs and resources, utilizing these insights to strengthen local programs including recruitment and engagement efforts.
- Drive Alumni Engagement: Formulate and execute an alumni engagement strategy aimed at fostering connections, collaboration, and career advancement opportunities.
- Share Our Narrative: Utilize your creativity to promote our initiatives across social media and events, celebrating the achievements of our mentors and alumni.
- Uphold Our Mission: Consistently prioritize health and wellness in all facets of your work.
- Bachelor's degree in Youth Development, Education, Public Health, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in youth development, program design, education, alumni engagement, or workforce development.
- Proven track record in designing impactful learning experiences for young adults in both virtual and in-person formats.
- Experience mentoring or supervising teens, university students, or staff members.
- Familiarity with educational systems and establishing partnerships with diverse stakeholders.
- Established professional connections in health, education, or similar fields.
- Strong passion for addressing health disparities with a problem-solving mindset.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Robust organizational capabilities and the ability to work autonomously.
- Commitment to cultural competence and experience working with diverse communities.
