Role Overview
As a Project Estimator specializing in pre-construction and estimating processes, you will play a pivotal role in laying the groundwork for successful project execution. Your expertise in managing budgets and delivering exceptional client service will be instrumental in establishing our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of competitive budgets and estimates for projects valued between \(1M and \)5M.
- Collaborate with the pre-construction and estimating team to ensure comprehensive vendor and subcontractor proposals.
- Maintain financial oversight to ensure proposals meet target gross margins and support profitability.
- Stay informed about hotel brand standards and ADA compliance requirements to align estimates with design specifications.
- Conduct on-site and digital takeoffs, organize project contacts, and uphold meticulous records.
- Represent the company in client meetings and site visits to enhance satisfaction and foster strong relationships.
- 3-6 years of experience in estimating or pre-construction in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience with general contractors or subcontractors, particularly in hotel construction or tenant improvement projects.
- Proficient in estimating and project management software, alongside strong Microsoft 365 skills.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to manage intricate processes with precision and thrive in challenging situations.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for site visits and client engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Finance, Business Management, or related fields, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred experience in hotel construction or tenant improvement sectors.
