Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with program members on vocational initiatives, assisting them in setting and achieving their goals while promoting a positive work atmosphere.
- Actively engage members in the development and execution of their personal recovery strategies, including leading recovery-oriented activities and educational groups.
- Provide training in essential daily living skills and job readiness, facilitating both individual and group instruction to enhance member capabilities.
- Maintain precise documentation and communicate effectively within the team to support members' recovery journeys.
- Work alongside colleagues and community partners to embrace diverse perspectives and foster inclusion.
- Attend team meetings and training sessions, and participate in activities with program members to enhance collaboration.
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work, sociology, or a related field.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a mental health or social service environment; personal experience with mental health services is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a genuine desire to support others through understanding and empathy.
- Ability to accept constructive feedback and integrate it into your professional practice.
- High ethical standards and commitment to the organization’s mission and values.
- Valid driver's license and proof of insurance required.
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Experience in mental health or social services, ideally with a focus on recovery and empowerment.
