Key Responsibilities
- Implementation Leadership: Manage the initiation and execution of SaaS implementations for clients with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of \(50k-\)100k , guiding them through product configurations, back-office system integrations, data loading, training, and multi-location setups.
- Project Planning: Collaborate with clients, sales teams, senior management, and internal departments to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Project Management: Construct and oversee detailed project plans to guarantee the timely and budget-conscious delivery of client-facing initiatives.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including trainers, data specialists, and solutions consultants, to ensure seamless execution of project phases.
- Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and automation opportunities, driving ongoing enhancements to improve scalability and operational efficiency.
- Asset Development: Generate reusable project assets such as templates, best practices, and checklists to optimize future client implementations.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct internal and external meetings to align stakeholders, monitor project progress, and address any emerging issues.
- Project Management Function Development: Lead the establishment of a project management function within the organization, preparing for future team growth and capability enhancement over the next 12-24 months.
- Profound understanding of SaaS business models and technical integrations, particularly with financial systems (QuickBooks, Sage) and data migrations.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale, client-facing implementations, coupled with experience in both execution and strategic process development.
- Proficiency in managing and prioritizing multiple projects while achieving successful results.
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and a flexible approach to project management methodologies.
- Exceptional communication and organizational capabilities, enabling collaboration across departments and the establishment of strong client relationships.
- Solid knowledge of risk management, financial oversight, and vendor relations.
- Required:
- 5-8 years of experience in managing SaaS or IT system implementations, especially regarding financial system integrations and data migrations.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and guiding clients through complex technical implementations.
- Preferred:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent project management certification.
- Background in private equity-backed vertical SaaS or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with back-office financial management systems (QuickBooks, Sage) and AR/AP concepts.
- Experience with internal professional services P&L management, including service packaging, project financials, and professional services metrics.
