Job Overview

We are in search of a dynamic and experienced Senior Implementation Project Manager to join our innovative team! In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the implementation of our cutting-edge vertical SaaS solution designed specifically for the heavy-duty repair shop industry. You will play a crucial role in executing large-scale projects while developing repeatable processes and scalable assets to propel our future growth. Your main focus will be on executing our most strategic customer projects and enhancing our project management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementation Leadership: Manage the scope, initiation, and successful delivery of SaaS implementations for clients with annual recurring revenue (ARR) of \(50k-\)100k , guiding them through product configuration, data loading, user training, and multi-location setups.
• Project Planning: Collaborate with customers, sales teams, senior leadership, and internal departments to outline project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
• Project Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans to ensure timely and budget-sensitive delivery of customer-facing projects.
• Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including trainers, data specialists, and solutions consultants to ensure seamless execution of each project phase.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for efficiency and automation, driving continuous enhancement for scalability and operational excellence.
• Asset Development: Construct reusable assets such as project templates, best practices, checklists, and surveys to facilitate future customer implementations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Conduct internal and customer-facing meetings to align stakeholders, monitor project progress, and address any potential issues.
• Project Management Function Development: Lead the establishment of a project management practice within the organization, with plans for team growth and capability enhancement over the next 12-24 months.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of SaaS business models and technical integrations, particularly with financial systems and data migrations.
• Proven success in directing large-scale, client-oriented implementations, with experience in both direct execution and strategic process development.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while ensuring successful outcomes.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and a versatile approach to project management methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and organizational abilities, with the aptitude to collaborate across departments and foster strong relationships with clients.
• Solid grasp of risk management, financial management, and vendor relations.
  
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 5-8 years of experience in managing SaaS or IT system implementations, especially involving financial system integrations and data migrations.
• Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams and guiding clients through complex technical implementations.
  
  

Preferred

• Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent project management certification.
• Background in private equity-backed vertical SaaS or consulting.
• Familiarity with back-office financial management systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP) concepts.
• Experience in professional services P&L management, including services packaging and financial management.
