Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership in the implementation process by overseeing the scope, initiation, and delivery of SaaS projects for customers with annual recurring revenue (ARR) ranging from \(50k to \)100k .
- Collaborate with customers, sales teams, senior leadership, and cross-functional internal groups to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans aimed at ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery of customer-centric projects.
- Coordinate with various teams, including trainers, data specialists, and solutions consultants, to facilitate the seamless execution of each project phase.
- Identify and address inefficiencies by driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability and operational effectiveness.
- Create reusable tools such as project templates, best practices, checklists, and surveys to streamline future implementations.
- Conduct internal and customer-facing meetings to engage stakeholders, monitor project progress, and address any challenges.
- Lead the establishment of a structured project management function within the company, planning for team growth and capability enhancement over the next 12-24 months.
Required:
- 5-8 years of experience managing SaaS or IT system implementations, with a strong focus on financial system integrations and data migrations.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and guide clients through intricate technical implementations.
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent project management certification.
- Experience in private equity-backed vertical SaaS or consulting environments.
- Familiarity with back-office financial management systems (QuickBooks, Sage) and concepts related to accounts receivable/accounts payable (AR/AP).
- Knowledge of internal professional services P&L management, including services packaging, project and portfolio financial oversight, and professional services business metrics.
- Deep understanding of SaaS business models and technical integrations, particularly with financial systems (QuickBooks, Sage) and data migrations.
- Demonstrated track record in leading large-scale, client-facing implementation projects.
- Exceptional ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects with successful outcomes.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet) and a flexible approach to various project management methodologies.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, capable of fostering collaboration across departments and building solid relationships with clients.
- Comprehensive understanding of risk management, financial management, and vendor relations.
