Position Title : Center Program Director
Position Overview : We are looking for a passionate and committed Center Program Director to lead and enhance the delivery of exceptional educational programs. This pivotal role involves not only recruiting families and staff to optimize both enrollment and staffing levels but also ensuring a vibrant and nurturing learning atmosphere.
As the Program Director, you will serve as a representative of the program, showcasing professionalism and positivity while managing daily operations. You will be instrumental in guiding the teaching staff to effectively deliver lessons, develop lesson plans, and employ assessment tools such as the COR Advantage Assessment tool. Your proficiency in NAEYC Accreditation, DC Early Learning Standards, curriculum execution, staff development, and community engagement will be critical to your success.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate teaching staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality instruction.
- Plan educational lessons and evaluate learning outcomes using the COR Advantage Assessment tool.
- Ensure compliance with NAEYC Accreditation standards, DC Early Learning Standards, and other educational criteria.
- Identify training needs among staff and coordinate professional development initiatives.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with families and the local community.
- Supervise personnel and oversee facility operations to uphold a safe and welcoming environment.
- Develop and execute a marketing and recruitment strategy to achieve full enrollment and maintain licensing capacity.
