Role Overview

As an Agency Account Director, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth and cultivating relationships within B2B media agencies, particularly within the technology sector. Employing a consultative approach, you will harness your industry insights to identify client needs and present customized solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with a committed team and utilize extensive resources, including sales enablement support and SDR assistance, to empower your success and create meaningful impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate and implement a strategic account and territory plan with a focus on B2B agencies in the technology space.
  • Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold outreach, professional networking, and social media engagement.
  • Develop and execute targeted business development strategies to expand your sales pipeline.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify selling opportunities and assess customer demands.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with prospects, effectively communicating the value of our services.
  • Prepare and present persuasive proposals that align with client expectations and drive sales.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive activities, and market changes to identify new product opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations to close significant deals, addressing objections with poise.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as required.

Required Skills

  • Profound expertise in the B2B media agency landscape, especially within the North American technology sector.
  • Proven experience in selling demand generation, digital media, and related services, with a successful track record of closing $2-5M deals.
  • Versatile and resourceful, excelling in a dynamic environment while adapting strategies to meet evolving business needs.
  • Proficient in managing client relationships and cultivating long-term, strategic partnerships.
