As a Senior Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and leading expansion initiatives across both government and commercial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of business development professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to penetrate new markets within both government and commercial sectors, staying informed of industry trends and competitive dynamics.
  • Integrate marketing strategies into business development efforts to align with overall growth objectives.
  • Establish and nurture robust client relationships through a consultative approach, understanding their unique needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new opportunities and guide strategic business initiatives.
  • Oversee targeted sales and marketing campaigns to acquire new clients and strengthen existing partnerships.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance market visibility and professional connections.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, providing insights to leadership on business and marketing effectiveness.
  • Spearhead the proposal development process, leading contract negotiations to ensure mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards in all business activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field; a Master's degree is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated success in business development, with a firm grasp of marketing principles.
  • Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience in business development or a related role, with a preference for candidates familiar with both government and commercial sectors.
