In the capacity of Survey Project Manager, you will oversee and manage surveying operations across a diverse array of municipal and transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, select, and implement standard surveying techniques and methodologies, utilizing your expertise to adapt as necessary for FDOT and related transportation projects.
- Develop, coordinate, and supervise comprehensive phases of surveying work, whether as part of a larger initiative or a standalone task of moderate scale.
- Conduct boundary assessments for extensive land surveys, including corridor, route, and sectionalized surveys.
- Facilitate client communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment and transparency from inception to completion.
- Oversee and direct the efforts of surveyors, technicians, and support personnel engaged in specific survey assignments.
- Review, authenticate, and manage professional surveying documentation.
- Execute additional responsibilities as required to ensure project success.
- Current licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the capability to secure licensure within 12 months.
- At least five years of office experience in working on DOT projects.
- Strong technical competencies, including proficiency in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping is highly desirable.
- Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or ability to obtain licensure within a year.
- Strong technical skills, particularly in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Minimum of five years of relevant office experience focusing on DOT projects.
- Preferred extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping.
