As a Survey Project Manager, you will be pivotal in overseeing and managing surveying operations for a range of municipal and transportation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, choose, and implement standard surveying methodologies and protocols, utilizing your expertise to adapt for FDOT and other transportation assignments.
- Strategically plan, schedule, and direct comprehensive phases of surveying work, whether as part of a broader project or as an independent task of moderate complexity.
- Execute boundary evaluations for extensive land surveys, encompassing corridor, route, and sectional surveys.
- Facilitate client communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring coherence from initiation to conclusion.
- Supervise and coordinate the efforts of surveyors, technicians, and support personnel engaged in specific surveying tasks.
- Review, authenticate, and manage professional surveying documentation.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as required to ensure project success.
- Active licensure as a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in the State of Florida, or the capability to secure licensure within 12 months.
- At least five years of office experience with a focus on DOT projects.
- Proficient technical skills, inclusive of expertise in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer.
- Preferred extensive experience in Right-of-Way mapping.
- A Bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
- A minimum of five years of relevant experience, particularly in DOT projects, is required.
