Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the design process for transmission projects, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and project objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to obtain required resources, permits, and approvals.
- Create detailed project scopes, assess bids, and award contracts for engineering services.
- Guide the preparation and submission of engineering documentation and deliverables throughout all phases of the project.
- Act as a technical advisor, providing expertise in value engineering and ensuring design quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in high-voltage (HV) transmission line development, design, and construction.
- Proficient in utilizing software tools such as PLS-CADD, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project.
- Strong project management abilities, capable of managing multiple projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Flexibility to travel within North America as required.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
- At least 7 years of practical experience in the field of transmission line design and construction.
