Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers, providing valuable feedback and encouraging their professional development.
- Collaborate closely with sales, technical teams, and various functional areas to identify client needs and assure successful delivery of projects.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and quality standards, ensuring projects remain on track and within scope.
- Monitor key project metrics and timelines, delivering regular updates to stakeholders and senior management.
- Continuously evaluate project management processes, proposing enhancements to optimize performance and boost client satisfaction.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among internal teams, clients, and vendors for successful project execution.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to extract lessons learned and apply insights to future initiatives.
- Proactively identify project risks and work with your team to formulate effective mitigation strategies.
- Strong grasp of project management methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional communication and leadership capabilities, fostering strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented with the skill to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven track record in leading and developing project management teams.
- Willingness to travel to client sites as necessary, with a valid driver's license.
- Preferred: PMP certification and/or other relevant project management credentials.
- A minimum of 5 years of project management experience in financial services, software, or related sectors.
- Demonstrated success in managing and leading project management teams, coupled with a commitment to coaching team members.
