Project Manager - UAV Remote Sensing | WFH

We are looking for an accomplished UAV Remote Sensing Project Manager to join our forward-thinking team in a fully remote capacity. Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic planning, execution, and successful delivery of UAV projects.
• Manage the scheduling, performance, and organization of various UAV personnel and projects.
• Define project scope and actively engage in contract negotiations.
• Establish and track project budgets, implementing corrective measures when necessary.
• Direct staff in the creation of database and schema criteria for UAV services.
• Coordinate UAV flight requests, pilot assignments, and data acquisition activities, including Mapping, Photography, Video, LiDAR, and QA/QC of deliverables.
• Supervise UAV flight and processing software while maintaining strategic partnerships with platforms like SkySkopes, DroneDeploy, Pix4D, among others.
• Conduct business development activities such as responding to RFPs, delivering presentations, and crafting proposals.
• Organize project tasks and oversee the work of UAV technicians and specialists.
• Analyze data acquired from remote sensing platforms to extract meaningful insights.
• Assist in the design and development of remote sensing applications tailored to specific project objectives.
  
  

Required Skills

• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and associated application extensions.
• Familiarity with data management in Relational Database Management Systems.
• Knowledge of data analytics, advanced data visualization techniques, and Big Data.
• Experience with web-based GIS services and mapping tools.
• Valid Remote Pilot Certification required.
• Remote Sensing Certification is preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Computer Science, GIS, or a related field. A Master's degree is an advantage.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in GIS and/or UAV operations.
