Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain Microsoft infrastructure solutions, including Windows Server, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
- Guarantee the availability, scalability, and security of all systems.
- Manage and enhance critical Microsoft on-premises infrastructure services, such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- Deploy and oversee Azure infrastructure services, including Virtual Machines, Azure Active Directory, Networking, and Storage.
- Administer Microsoft SQL databases, focusing on installation, configuration, backup, and performance optimization.
- Leverage expertise in core Microsoft services, including Hyper-V, Failover Clustering, and Storage Replica.
- Develop and automate standard processes using PowerShell scripting to improve efficiency.
- (Preferred) Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps practices utilizing Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
- (Preferred) Experience with VMware vCenter and vSphere is advantageous.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues, aiding in their professional development.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continually enhance technical skills.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or Azure certifications are highly preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in a comparable role, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft services.
- In-depth knowledge of Windows Server environments (2016 and above) and Microsoft on-premises infrastructure.
- Proven hands-on experience with Azure infrastructure core services, encompassing deployment and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft SQL administration, including database installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Strong PowerShell scripting skills for automation and process improvement.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines is an asset.
- Exceptional problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication abilities with effective collaboration across teams.
