In this remote role, you will be instrumental in crafting, developing, and overseeing secure software pipelines while collaborating with a diverse range of engineers and IT professionals. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with engineers and IT experts to guarantee that software and systems are meticulously designed, developed, and deployed in accordance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with development teams to modernize the architecture of existing software applications.
- Design, implement, manage, and document comprehensive DevSecOps pipeline tooling, adhering to best practices.
- Establish secure, reusable solutions and processes to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Provide support for a 24⁄7 build pipeline and related tooling to ensure seamless operations.
- Uphold the confidentiality of sensitive information across all facets of work.
- Proficient in object-oriented programming languages such as C , C#, Java, or Python.
- Demonstrated experience in configuring, monitoring, and setting up Virtual Machine environments like VirtualBox and VMware.
- Expertise in container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher.
- Knowledgeable in Windows & Linux system administration, including scripting in Bash and PowerShell.
- Familiar with all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline tooling for build, test, code scanning, and deployment.
- Understanding of continuous monitoring, security scanning, identity management, PKI, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Familiar with tools such as SonarQube, Parasoft, Fortify, Nessus, Git, JFrog Artifactory, Jenkins, GitLab, Helm, Ansible, Bitbucket, and Jira.
- Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present ideas and collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with Agile and Lean software development methodologies.
- US citizenship with the capacity to secure a US Government security clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related discipline.
- Over 5 years of experience in DevSecOps, IT, software development, or build management.
- Hands-on experience in deploying and maintaining cloud-based applications, including platforms like Amazon AWS and EKS.
- Background in both cloud and on-prem development environments, and knowledge of cybersecurity processes.
