Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff, fostering their professional growth and ensuring effective management of their caseloads.
- Oversee the seamless process of program admissions, transitions, and discharges, ensuring coordinated services.
- Assess and promptly respond to crisis situations, prescribing appropriate follow-up support as necessary.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, establishing diagnoses and performing LOCUS/CALOCUS evaluations for clients.
- Lead the development of personalized treatment plans through collaboration with clients and team members.
- Submit authorization requests for new clients joining the program.
- Maintain accurate documentation by locking and signing progress notes, offering constructive feedback, and conducting clinical reviews.
- Provide Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients requiring additional assistance.
- Ensure compliance with all agency regulations and uphold program policies.
- Support the physician in medication management sessions as needed.
- Be available for on-call support to clients when required.
- Complete session documentation within 48 hours and actively participate in ongoing training and required meetings.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in DSM-based diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Effective clinical supervision experience with non-licensed practitioners.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple tasks and adhere to flexible scheduling.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, with current licensure as an LPC or LCSW in good standing.
- Valid NPI and CAQH numbers, and active registration with LA Medicaid.
- A valid driver's license is required.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days of accepting the position.
