Your role will be crucial in guaranteeing that clients receive exceptional care and support.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical oversight to non-licensed personnel, fostering their professional development and ensuring optimal management of caseloads.
- Supervise the entire process of program admissions, transitions, and discharges for a seamless experience for clients and staff alike.
- Evaluate crisis situations and coordinate necessary follow-up services when warranted.
- Execute comprehensive initial psychosocial assessments, assign appropriate diagnoses, and ensure meticulous documentation including LOCUS/CALOCUS for all clients.
- Conduct required reassessments in accordance with state and Managed Care Organization (MCO) guidelines.
- Lead the team in formulating individualized treatment plans that address each client's distinctive requirements.
- Facilitate initial authorization requests for clients at the point of service admission.
- Review and endorse progress notes while providing constructive feedback and support to team members as needed.
- Engage in clinical reviews as mandated by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO).
- Offer Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients who have been assessed and admitted to services.
- Gather necessary information for re-assessments and verify that all documentation is duly completed.
- Uphold program policies and procedures to sustain agency compliance.
- Provide assistance to physicians during medication management appointments when necessary.
- Be accessible for on-call support to clients as required.
- Complete documentation for assessments and scales promptly within a 48-hour window post-session.
- Compose precise progress notes, summaries, and related documents for client services, submitting them for clinical oversight.
- Attend mandatory training sessions and meetings to remain informed on best practices and regulatory standards.
- A Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related discipline.
- Current, active licensure as an LPC or LCSW, in good standing.
- Proficient in working independently and managing a flexible schedule with minimal oversight.
- Possession of NPI number, CAQH number, and registration with LA Medicaid is mandatory.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
- Capable of managing deadlines and fulfilling critical data entry requirements.
- Knowledgeable about confidentiality, incident reporting, and professional ethics standards.
- Valid driver’s license is required.
- Ability to diagnose individuals per DSM standards.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and executing tailored treatment plans.
- Proven capability to supervise and mentor non-licensed clinicians.
- Willingness to obtain CPR certification within 45 days if offered the position.
