As a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHP), you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their mental health journeys by providing clinical supervision, case management, and tailored treatment planning. This position is designed for a compassionate LPC or LCSW who values collaboration and is dedicated to enhancing client care in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical supervision to non-licensed staff, fostering their professional development and ensuring effective management of caseloads.
- Oversee program admissions, transitions, and discharges, coordinating services to ensure seamless client experiences.
- Respond to crisis situations by assessing needs and prescribing appropriate follow-up services.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments, assign diagnoses, and implement LOCUS/CALOCUS assessments for clients.
- Develop and lead individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and interdisciplinary team members.
- Complete and submit initial authorization requests for new clients joining the program.
- Lock and sign progress notes, provide constructive feedback, and engage in clinical reviews as necessary.
- Deliver Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment (CPST) to clients requiring additional community support.
- Ensure compliance with all agency regulations and enforce program policies.
- Assist during medication management sessions as needed and remain accessible for on-call support.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in managing multiple tasks effectively while maintaining a flexible schedule with minimal supervision.
- Clinical competency in DSM-based diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Experience in providing mentorship and clinical supervision.
- Master's degree in Social Work or Counseling, with a valid and active LPC or LCSW license in good standing.
- Possession of NPI and CAQH numbers, with active registration with LA Medicaid.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Ability to obtain CPR certification within 45 days of accepting the position.
