Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and support a multi-tenant infrastructure, both cloud-based and on-premises, while working in conjunction with our 24⁄7 NOC/SOC operations.
- Deliver outstanding support to our managed clients, promptly addressing and resolving service-impacting issues.
- Implement requested changes, document processes, and adapt the existing environment as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with network security best practices to safeguard our systems.
- Solid networking background with a comprehensive understanding of network topology and schematics.
- Proficiency in network protocols such as TCP, UDP, ICMP, as well as technologies including HTTP/S, SSH, and Telnet.
- Exceptional troubleshooting capabilities for networking issues, including routing, access, and firewall configurations.
- Familiarity with tools for packet/session analysis, such as nmap, tcpdump, and log analysis.
- Understanding of network ACLs and load balancers, along with enterprise technologies like WAF and network IDS/IPS.
- Strong command of Linux command-line interface.
- Experience with tools focused on threat detection via packet analysis.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues within our environment.
- Deploy various systems for packet collection.
- Collaborate with SOC and threat detection teams to analyze traffic patterns and develop effective detection strategies.
