Key Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse defense litigation caseload, guiding cases from inception through to dispositive motions, mediation, settlement negotiations, or trial.
• Collaborate closely with fellow attorneys and partners on various legal initiatives.
• Actively participate in court appearances and depositions to advocate for our clients.
• Maintain open lines of communication with clients, providing regular updates and strategic legal counsel.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience in deposition preparation, trial preparation, and motion practice.
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities.
• Proficient in handling paper discovery, conducting depositions, and drafting legal reports.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in the state of New York.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in civil litigation, with a preference for professional liability exposure.

Compensation And Benefits

• Salary Range: \(125,000—\)145,000 USD, contingent on experience and qualifications.
