Remote Project Management Director | WFH

Job Overview

We are seeking an accomplished Director of Project Management to lead our Project Management Office (PMO) in a dynamic and remote working environment. This pivotal role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, control, and close various projects related to distribution operations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic leadership and direction for project management initiatives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of Project Managers, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
• Allocate resources effectively to projects based on skill sets and project requirements.
• Provide expert guidance on core project management practices, including estimation, planning, risk management, and issue resolution.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks across all project initiatives.
• Foster trusted relationships with key stakeholders and internal leaders.
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance project management processes and tools in alignment with business units.
• Manage departmental and individual project budgets to ensure financial integrity.
• Establish and maintain performance metrics to evaluate and drive team success.
• Identify process optimization opportunities to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Support the ongoing professional development of team members through mentorship and guidance.
• Perform additional responsibilities to advance the PMO's objectives as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Communications, or a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, product/program management, or third-party logistics.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is mandatory.
• Green Belt and/or Lean Six Sigma certifications are preferred.
