Key Responsibilities
- Develop robust cloud-native applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot microservices on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Deconstruct complex requirements into actionable tasks and development strategies.
- Create unit and integration tests to guarantee the software’s quality and dependability.
- Engage in design and code reviews to uphold high coding standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Product Management) to align on technical specifications.
- Partake in Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- In-depth knowledge of Computer Science principles, encompassing object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Proficiency in Java 8 and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL databases (such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, etc.).
- Competence in Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Practical experience in applying modern software engineering practices across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and deployment.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools used for deployment.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Experience with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ and Kafka.
- Proficient with Atlassian tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
- A strong track record in utilizing the technologies listed above.
- Experience in designing and developing scalable, cloud-native distributed systems, particularly on platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
