Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality cloud-native applications utilizing Java/Spring Boot microservices on the Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Decompose complex requirements into actionable tasks and strategic development plans.
- Implement unit and integration tests to guarantee software quality and reliability.
- Engage in design and code reviews to uphold high standards of excellence.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Product Management, etc.) to ensure technical alignment on project goals.
- Actively participate in Agile methodologies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Proficient knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, covering object-oriented design, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Expertise in Java 8 and Spring Boot frameworks.
- Experience with various relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, Redis).
- Familiarity with front-end JavaScript frameworks (Angular, ReactJS, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Test-Driven Development (TDD), Behavior-Driven Development (BDD), and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
- Proven experience with modern software engineering practices throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
