Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive legal and administrative support for debt and tax equity financings associated with utility-scale energy storage and solar projects.
- Work collaboratively with internal finance counsel and commercial finance teams to facilitate the preparation and closing of project and corporate financings, which includes managing data rooms, drafting and reviewing ancillary documents, and ensuring adherence to corporate policies.
- Enhance internal transaction processes and optimize ancillary document templates to promote efficiency and compliance.
- Ensure adherence to post-closing financing obligations and track corporate guarantees and representation and warranty confirmations.
- Prepare and update transactional and corporate governance documents such as resolutions, certificates, and operating agreements under attorney supervision.
- Support documentation and filings related to external counsel engagement, invoice approvals, and vendor onboarding.
- Offer general transactional, administrative, and organizational support to the team as required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a paralegal, law clerk, or contract management position, focusing on renewable energy project financings.
- Proficient in interacting with various levels of the corporate structure while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Solid computer proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Exceptional organizational and planning capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.
- Superior written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal abilities to work cohesively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
